Clay billets do not enter the kiln directly; they first go through key processes such as "billet trimming and glazing". Workers hold tools to carefully polish the surface of the clay billets, removing tiny defects and making the lines of the porcelain body smoother.
The glazing process is like putting on "protective clothing" for the electrical porcelain. The evenly covered glaze not only improves the insulation performance, but also gives the electrical porcelain the "superpowers" of anti-fouling and weather resistance.
Refined by Fire: Transformation in the Kiln
After glazing, the Insulators are placed in a high-temperature kiln where they undergo a "fire test." Inside the precisely controlled kiln, the porcelain undergoes hours of intense sintering, gradually densifying the loose clay into a high-strength, high-insulation insulator matrix. In the kiln operation area, workers are carrying sintered porcelain in an orderly manner. The dark brown porcelain body has undergone high-temperature quenching and has stable insulation performance.
Finished product inspection: "escorting" power safety
After leaving the kiln, insulators undergo final inspection: appearance inspection, insulation performance test, mechanical strength test... Risheng Insulators is equipped with professional testing equipment to conduct a "full physical inspection" on each product. Only insulators that pass these rigorous tests receive the "Risheng" label and are sent to the front lines of the power industry.
